how’s it going?

Ok, so I figured I’d tell you all what I’ve been up to over the past month… I know I type up on myspace and things about like little day to day occurrences but I wanted to take the time to tell you in detail exactly what’s been going on!

So over the past month or two I have began working with two awesome guys called Leon and Lee. We firstly met in February at my Windsor Leisure centre gig all those months back and since then Leon has become my manager! I love working with him and he knows me inside out! Leon created my website which was released last week. Check it at www.jamesmcveymusic.com! As well as Leon, Lee has been helping me greatly by editing my video blogs for you all to see, and I love them… so a massive thank you is in order to both of them!

Ok, ok… so now I feel it’s appropriate to tell you guys about my personal life…; what’s actually been happening?

Well, I’ve decided to leave school, as of this morning. I don’t want to go into too much detail about why because it will bore you… but I guess it’s due to the fact I’m not happy here. I don’t really know many people anymore, and the lessons I take really don’t seem to be working out, so I guess I’m on the move. Who knows where to? Haha nah joking, I kinda want to go to a music academy in London/Bristol but it’s going to be hard seeing as it’s like 3 hours on a train each way. I guess I’m at that point you know where somethings going to happen you just don’t know what!

So what’s the plan for the future?

Well I have just had some amazingly cool fliers printed, that my friend Krystina Chapman made. I’m so happy with them, and it seems everyone who’s seen them thinks they’re cool, which is reassuring haha!

I have finished recording my EP which is going to be printed and promoted as soon as possible, so keep in touch and no doubt you’ll see it on itunes within a few months!

I’ve seen the designs created for the EP artwork and I can’t wait for it to be actually physically made! I can’t thank Krystina enough for doing all the artwork and things for me, she’s an awesome friend who’s really been there for me recently!

So yeah, sorry for the HUGE blog, I just thought I’d let you know what I’ve been up to and everything! To be honest, I think the most important thing about this blog is to actually take time to thank every single one of you who has hit me up on myspace/facebook/my website and everything… it means so much to me and I love you all for doing it!

I hope that you’ll follow me on my journey and stay by my side cause it’s a rollercoaster of a way… and I’m loving every minute of it!
