So I just wanted to take some time to talk to you about everything; everything that’s happened, everyone I’ve met and hopefully everywhere I’m going.
Where to start?

Since my last blog it’s actually crazy with what’s happened…

I think the best place to start is my January gig with Twenty Twenty in Southampton.
I have to be honest, I really didn’t expect the turn out. It was a sell out show and I was literally taken by the whole night. It was the first time we decided to sell merchandise and we managed to sell ALL of it – It was a CRAZY night! Twenty Twenty, and the other supports are really awesome people; I hadn’t met most of them before so it was real cool to meet other musicians.

Following the Southampton show, I played an under 16′s gig at Windsor Leisure Centre. It was incredible that people I’d never met screamed when they saw me… like wow! haha on the whole I now absolutely love travelling around the country, and Windsor was really exciting for me. I don’t think I’d signed so much stuff in my life until that night; I even signed faces, haha!

As well as the gigs, some exciting things have been happening behind the scenes: we’ve just released my new website at www.jamesmcveymusic.com, I have started to film a new music video (which is so fun!), I’ve began to develop my music to the stage where I feel happy to have a unique style, and although I am highly influenced by other artists I think it’s important to sound like me

So what’s planned for the next few months?

Currently I am trying to get more tracks recorded, finish my music video, travel a hell of a lot more and hopefully play gigs near YOU. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to play near most of you yet but I’m really hoping avenues will open, that will consequently enable me to perform near you!

I know I’m always saying ‘ THANKYOUUUU’ but seriously, thankyou! haha I mean it’s just amazing how you guys support me… I mean when I go into town and people later tweet me saying they saw me it’s like.. amazinggg, I’m a normal teenager who’s just doing to share my feelings through my music, and to know you guys kinda understand just makes me so happy!
